Who is Silas?

Background & Hometown: Silas Drummond is a military brat and surf shop associate originally from Santa Monica, California.  

Physical Traits: He is in his 20s, stands 5'9", weighs 197 lbs, and features light brownish skin, large brown eyes, and big, curly hair. He also sports full sleeve tattoos, multiple ear piercings, and a distinctive brand on his chest.

Personality & Interests: Silas loves the water, surfing, swimming, and boating, while actively disliking sand, soda, cats, and seagulls.

Where Is He From?

While Silas lives his everyday life riding the waves in Santa Monica, California, his true calling comes from a much larger cosmic stage. He is tapped to become a warrior of The Natura—guardians of Earth from a kingdom beyond human awareness. 

Silas and His Powers

The Awakening: After a chaotic encounter with an entity named Infernus, Silas receives a "seed" that fuses his love of water with elemental fire, transforming him into one of the Ordained.

His Perspective: Initially, Silas thinks the whole ordeal is "batshit crazy" and wants nothing to do with fighting mysterious threats called the ILL.

Elemental Abilities: Once activated, Silas discovers he can generate magma, boil water, and sweat liquid heat without taking any physical burns, though he is initially terrified of his newfound, overwhelming changes. 

The Mysterious Trainer: Infernus

Who is Infernus? Infernus is a small, invisible-to-others entity of source energy and an Essence of elemental power who serves as Silas's unconventional teacher. 

Silas's Take on His Trainer: Silas finds Infernus entirely eccentric and intrusive—especially after Infernus destroys (and later returns) his favorite surfboard and abruptly forces a mystical seed into his chest. Despite his initial resistance and panic, Silas relies on Infernus's guidance when the threat of the ILL arrives on the beach.
